Repülés a Rett-szindrómáért – interkontinentális jótékonysági repülés Keszthely és Sydney között 2002-2003-ban Kántás Andor kereskedelmi pilótával és társával, Latky Csongorral a Lúcia nevű- Kántás Andor lányáról elnevezett – repülőgéppel

„Egy Rett-szindrómás, a központi idegrendszert érintő gyógyíthatatlan fejlődési rendellenességben szenvedő lányról, Luciáról és édesapjáról szól. Az apa 18 országot járt be, közel 20 ezer kilométert repült, hogy segítséget kérjen magatehetetlen lányának, de hiába. A szülő évek óta megpróbálja legyőzni a legyőzhetetlent, naponta több órát tölt el lánya betegágyánál. Lucia idén 20 éves, mégis örökké gyerek marad.”

Lucia is totally numb; yet her eyes sparkle with intellect. Sometimes she does not respond, but understands everything. She is 20 this year, yet will always be a child. Never smiling, Lucia most probably does knows what happiness is … at least this is what her family likes to think. Lucia suffers from Rett Syndrome; in other words there is no hope of her recovery. Lying in bed motionless with her father is sitting at her side for hours on end every single day, together, even if the actual distance between them is large. Pain, worries, helplessness, love. Spurred on by his own boundless love Andor Kántás, her father, ten years ago flew 20,000 kilometres, visiting 18 countries, spreading the word about this syndrome and gaining experience so as to find out what was exactly happening to Lucia. The story of the past 20 years is an adventurous endeavour.
